Learn Traditional Japanese Karate at Kei Shin Kan Karate

Kei Shin Kan Karate first arrived to Australia in 1971 under Shihan Uchida and has since established dojos in NSW, VIC, QLD, and TAS.

With an international presence Kei Shin Kan International dojos are located in Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, USA, New Zealand, India, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands. 

Kei Shin Kan is a not-for-profit dojo dedicated to following the teachings of traditional Japanese Karate. Emphasis is placed on:


* Developing self-discipline, respect, and a strong spirit
* Building a strong foundation of basic techniques
* Developing speed, power, timing, accuracy, and correct breathing
* Training modified to suit individual needs, including age and physical capabilities
* Precise and controlled sparring
* In-depth study of kata techniques and the meaning and philosophy behind karate


Kei Shin Kan is suitable for all levels, males and females and welcomes new members to join at any time. First trial class is FREE.

Classes are every Tuesday 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Beginners are welcome to start at any time.
