We are The Zen Concept, a local company dedicated to promoting the serene and enriching aspects of Japanese culture through our exquisite Japanese products (from tea, books, tableware to art pieces). We are excited to offer a unique internship opportunity for someone passionate about human connection and the Zen way of life.

Japanese Ambassador/ Customer Advisor Responsibilities:

- Sales Driven, confident to achieve sales targets as the main duty
- Share your love for Japanese culture and Zen philosophy with our people.
- Build and nurture relationships with our customers, making each interaction meaningful and memorable.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to create content that showcases the beauty and tranquility of the Zen lifestyle.
- Bringing fresh and innovative ideas to our cultural initiatives.
- Achieving sales target and building up CRM
- had work experience with KPI is highly preferable
- Able to organise and maintain the stocks
- Report to the team when stocks are running out soon and the best seller which needs to order more to meet the customer’s demands

Work Hours & Benefits
Shifts are mostly between 10am to 9pm, morning or evening shifts will be allocated according to the business needs.

Japanese Ambassador Qualifications / Skills:

- Deep passion for Japanese culture and Zen philosophy.
- Sales driven by your passion and enthusiasm!
- Communication skills with a talent for creating engaging and meaningful content, through body language and any kind of ways which customers would enjoy, so we do not need you to speak English very well :)
- Warm and approachable personality, with a knack for building strong human connections.
- Ability to independently manage tasks and bring creative ideas to the table.
- Basic knowledge of photography, video editing, and graphic design is a plus.
- Experience in hosting events or workshops is a bonus.

Location:
- Rhodes Central Shopping Mall right next to the train station
- Oxford Street in Darlinghurst which require higher standard of English skills and presentation

Education and Experience Requirements:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in cultural studies, communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Lower - Intermediate in English; knowledge of Japanese is a plus.
- Previous experience in customer engagement, social media management, or event planning is advantageous.
