We have a fun meetup group in Sydney where native Japanese speakers and people learning Japanese come together to chat and practice. Right now, there’s only one host, and it’s getting a bit tricky to manage everything alone. I’m looking for a friendly volunteer to help out and maybe even take over the role in the future!

◆What You’ll Do:
・Help pick the cafe for our meetups
・Lead the event and facilitate conversations
・Plan and organize future meetups

◆What You Need:
・Living in Sydney
・Valid visa for at least 3 months from January 2025
・Native Japanese speaker
・Comfortable speaking English at an intermediate level

◆It’d Be Great If You Also:
・Love language exchange and meeting new people
・Have experience as a Japanese language teacher

◆A Few Notes:
This is an unpaid volunteer position.
You will need to cover your own transport to the venue and any personal expenses (food and drinks).
