A ready to eat sushi store in Broadway shopping centre is currently redeveloping its brand to refine the ready to eat sushi market in Sydney. The family owned business developed Sydney's first ready to eat sushi concept and has been operating since 1996. The company is seeking experienced and passionate individuals to fill new positions in the kitchen, sales and leadership team.

Kitchen Team - You will need to have a background in producing products in high volume, as well as having an uncompromising standard in the fact that every product is perfect for our consumers. Food safety is as important to us as quality and speed, and you will have an uncompromising attitude in that respect. The hours of work are from either 6 am to 2 pm or 12 pm to 6 pm. The store is open 7 days a week, and as such you will need to be available for weekend shifts. Applicants for the kitchen team do not need to have formal qualifications as a sushi chef, however previous experience is advantageous. In-house training will be provided to applicants with limited experience by the founder of the company who has 20 years of experience behind her.

Sales & Leadership Team (SLT) - Customer service, quality control and team management are the three key aspects of this role. It's about the power of storytelling in retail and guiding the consumers feelings by what they see, hear, smell or do when they enter the space. We believe in enticing the consumer and fostering a relationship with them. Our SLT must strive to produce an honest product that they are proud to sell to our consumers. Our team is our family and we give our SLT the autonomy to carry out their tasks as they see fit. As an SLT member you must be prepared to roll up your sleeves and get the job done. The hours of work are from either 10 am to 4 pm or 4 pm to 10 pm. The store is open 7 days a week, and as such you will need to be available for weekend shifts.
