The Restaurant
We are planning to open a Japanese restaurant in Hobart with a view to offering high quality authentic Japanese food in a comfortable and casual setting.
The venue will be in the heart of Hobart CBD.
About You
This role requires a person who is willing to start up a new restaurant and work as both chef/cook and manager. To be successful you need:
• Preparation and cooking of Japanese food to the highest standard with knowledge and a genuine passion for Japanese food industry
• Proven people management skills - ability to lead the team along with mentoring and building relationships
• Exceptional relationship building skills with guests - this will be locals’ venue where you will be on first name basis with the guests.
• Fluent spoken and written Japanese language skills
• Work full-time and hold a permanent or citizenship of Australia
• The ability to achieve business goals,financial budgets and service standards
Hours and Rewards
You'll be required to work 5-day a week.Excellent conditions apply with great support as well as an opportunity to grow with the restaurant.
Training will be provided at one of our group restaurants in Sydney.
